For the latest in health news relevant to Canadian women check out Women's Health Matters News. This portion of the site provides timely coverage of women's health research and helps you stay aware of new treatments and diagnostic techniques.
For information on a wide variety of women's health topics, visit our Health A-Z section. This searchable section contains:
- short articles we have written ourselves
- detailed descriptions of books and periodicals, audiovisual and multimedia materials and websites
Women's Health Matters also offers many virtual Health
Centres, which give more detailed information on conditions that commonly
affect women. These Centres explain some of the medical terms used to describe
a particular condition, as well as treatments available and the research being
done. Each Health Centre provides information about the prevention and early
detection of illness to help women help themselves stay healthy.
Visit Le Club, a virtual meeting place for women to share their stories, their
experiences and their questions.
In just a few seconds, you can become a member of Le Club. As a member, you
will be able to:
- Ask for information and support
from other women and from the health professionals who moderate our Discussion
Groups.
- Read and post special events.
- Learn about other women's health
experiences and share your own stories.
We hope you will enjoy Women's Health Matters and will make it a regular part of your reading about women's health. If you have suggestions on how we could improve the site or make it more relevant to your needs, please use the Contact Us section to send us your comments.
